Our client is a global consultancy with offices in central London. They are looking to recruit a new role to the Regional People Team to focus on supporting 'women in consulting agenda' within the organisation. The role will include initiative development, project management, executing change management efforts for key programs, coordination with local offices and systems as well as with global counter-parts.   

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the team lead and key stakeholders to define, implement and oversee annual strategy and marketing plan for the Women's
  • Initiative including recruiting, staffing, career development, affiliation, and learning & development, retention and evolving the cultural context  4
  • Support the team lead in the communication to all stakeholders
  • Work with the team Lead to set annual strategy that establishes a support system related to career development and staffing needs of female Project Leaders / Principals affiliation plans)
  • Work with the local Managers to conduct regular check-in meetings with each office to review the status of female consultants as it relates to affiliation, L&D, staffing and career development initiatives (e.g., implementation status of flex program)
  • Work with the People Team  to define operational efficiencies and process interventions that creates a single point of contact and approach related to Career Development that supports Women in the region
  • Collect competitive intelligence and identify Women talent management leading practices  

Skills and experience:

  • Strong academic background, BS/BA or equivalent required
  • Prior experience of consulting within a large global organisation ideally
  • HR/people management experience preferred (or diversity experience)
  • Candidates must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment
  • An active team player with strong organisational, project- and change-management skills; “gets things done”
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills (inc. slide writing) ; finely honed listening skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all organizational levels inside and outside the business
  • Proven analytical capabilities 
  • A creative solution seeker and a readiness to try new approaches.
  • Decisive, pragmatic, and reason-minded
  • Comfortable in both working in detail and understanding the big picture 
  • Flexibility to work in a non structured, varying role
