Our SME ciient in the media / design sector is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to set up and execute business development for the business. 

This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. 

Responsibilities:
• Develop new business via telephone, email and social media to introduce the firm's services and identify appropriate opportunities and clients
• Follow up on leads and set up initial meetings and including having initial calls with prospects
• Identify key buying influencers and decision makers within these prospect organisations to determine budget and timeline.
• Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.  
• Prepare and analyse sales pipeline reports 

Skills, experience and knowledge: 
• Proven sales and business development skills 
• Experience of sourcing leads from lead generation to securing new clients
• Strong online research skills inlucing Linkedin and other online tools
• Self motivated, able to work on own initiative and determined to succeed
• Experience of working in the media or creative sector preferred
• Previous experience working in a small business
• Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and KPIs  
• A proven track record of strong client relationship management 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
Flexibility - 2 days a week (flexibility on working pattern)
Location - South London (home working is an option too)
Salary - £200/day
