Our SME client is a creative agency, with a core team based in their office in Essex and other individuals who are home based. They have a number of key clients they work with on a long term basis and are looking to increase this client base to develop further long term relationships.

To help them achieve this growth, they are now seeking an innovative business developer who is experienced in identifying and accessing decision makers and building profitable new ventures within medium sized businesses. The role will involve managing budgets and pricing structures alongside company managers and once work is acquired, liaising with creative and production teams to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget, and that invoicing and payment takes place in a timely manner. The Sales Executive will also maintain a client contact database and manage the company’s social media presence, developing networking opportunities.

They are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm and focus to achieve successful project completion understanding the core skills of our client and demonstrating knowledge of their business. He/she will be able to analyse the right type of client and sales opportunities to pursue and will be key in generating ideas for new concepts that will lead the sales process from identification and initial contact, through full sales cycle to successful conversion. He/she must have an understanding of social media and how it can be used commercially plus a knowledge of digital marketing. He/she will have good writing skills, excellent research ability and a personable telephone and email manner and be able to contribute to a small team.

This is a great opportunity to work with a small growing business. It will be a 12 month contract initially with a view to extending. They are a friendly, hard-working, creative team, eager to grow their business with the help of a like minded sales person.in developing new contacts.

  • Flexibility - 2 days a week (various working patterns available as well as home working)
  • Salary - £200/day (can be employed or self employed)
