Part time Head of Marketing & Media, London, Job Share, 3 days

Our client is a large commercial media organisation, they are looking for a Job Share Partner for their Head of Marketing & Media for a maternity cover contract, working three days a week starting in mid October 2017. They are seeking candidates with excellent commercial understanding and a proven success record working across complex businesses and multiple stakeholders with significant senior experience in marketing or advertising whilst leading and managing a team.  In addition, experience in Media buying of large scale campaigns is essential along with considerable digital and social marketing techniques.

Responsibilities include:

  • Devise the brand strategy and prioritised annual marketing activity plan and media strategy.
  • Lead a multiskilled marketing team to deliver the latest in modern marketing and media strategies and campaigns.
  • Execute the marketing and media campaigns to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Build strong upstream relationships with stakeholders to enable brand led thinking across all campaigns.
  • Develop strong and collaborative multi functional relationships across marketing, media, creative, research, planning, online and digital marketing.
  • Requirement to take on projects and other brands across the network and so flexibility to work across different genres
  • Champion multi-media approaches & lead the integration of plans across media
  • Responsibility for briefing media, marketing, creative, digital & social teams on campaign strategy


You will need to display a proven track record of demonstrating high profile effective consumer launch campaigns, significant above the line advertising experience, Outdoor, Digital marketing and social media marketing.

 Flexibility:    3 days a week (Wed-Fri), office based 
 Salary:         up to £88K FTE basic plus bonus and benefits
 Location:     Central London
